Emergency Care Training was started in 1998 and developed from a growing passion for emergency care as well as for training. An opportunity was seen in the market for quality yet affordable first aid training. Emergency Care Training seeks to fulfil that need. In 2010 Emergency Care Training developed fire training programs and also a safety consultancy division.

All our instructors are qualified medics with years of pre-hospital experience. Our fire instructors are qualified fire fighters many of whom are still active within the service. Our health and safety consultants are just as qualified and experienced.

Emergency Care Training strives to offer the client a comprehensive service. A 'one stop shop' principle is applied and all health and safety aspects are covered through one company.

We offer a wide range of courses including those that are not included by most other training companies.

Emergency Care Training is a registered educational centre with AAOS Emergency Care and Safety Institute, and all our instructors are registered with the same body. Our instructors are also registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Emergency Care Training is also a registered BLS Training centre, facilitating American Heart Association Basic Life Support courses.

Having contacts with most safety equipment manufacturers, Emergency Care Training is able to supply our clients with safety equipment at prices far less than that charged by retail and mass stores. Installation of the equipment is also done according to the relevant legislations and regulations. Our first aid courses are registered with the South African Department of Labour (CI694).
